I am from Lightning Ridge and have currently moved to Penrith to Study a business degree. I chose to study this degree, in the hopes of learning more about business and someday open my own business.

Amcor Limited is a global company that focuses on producing and developing sustainable packaging for food, beverage, pharmaceutical, medical, home and personal care, and other products. The company operates in 250 sites expanding across more than 40 countries with approximately 50 000 employees. The main aspiration of the company is to be the leading global packaging company in the world by providing packaging that are better for its consumers and the environment. Amcor Limited aims to do this through developing more sustainable packaging that are recyclable or reusable, increasing their use of recycled content and collaborating through worldwide partners such as CEFLEX, MRFF and the recycling partnership to increase recycling methods globally. Other collaborations include effective waste management to prevent plastics entering the ocean, increase recovery and recycling of plastic packaging and research areas about the effects of marine debris in the wildlife. Moreover, the company pursued an opportunity to make all its packaging to be recycled and reusable by 2025 and is the first global packaging company to make this pledge. Furthermore, other sustainable initiatives of the company includes reducing their waste disposal by 20% in 2025, reducing their greenhouse emissions by 60% in 2030, and overall improve the efficiency of their water use in all of their sites worldwide. Overall, Amcor Limited values its people, customers, investors and most importantly, the environment.
Other interesting information about Amcor are listed below:
The company began in 1860 when Samuel Ramsden opened the first paper mill in Victoria known as APM (Australian Paper Manufacturers). The company evolved around 1970s and 1980s by adding a range of diverse packaging interests away from its traditional paper making activities and changed its name from APM to Amcor Limited.
This YouTube video shows the outcomes of their sustainability report in 2019 which decreased their operations impact on the environment and adopted more sustainable materials for their products.
This a method used by the company to analyse the full life cycle of a products packaging and its impact on the environment. The data gathered are then used to find innovative ways to reduce the packaging’s impacts on the environment. Some success examples include Lofbergs, and Popcorn shed.

Hope you all are working well with your assessments and adding the final touches to them. I just wanted to share my experience with Studiosity.
Studiosity is AMAZING! I repeat AMAZING! They provided me with constructive feedback on how to improve my assessment draft. First of all, having another pair of eyes to look at your assessment is so good. It helps you to identify where you made silly mistakes such as spelling and grammatical errors.
Some of the feedback I have received included:
– Sentence structure: I made some run on sentences – Choice of words – some words I have chosen were to laid back and casual (informal) – Excess use of unnecessary words – adding more words to try and explain my point -Minor grammatical and spelling errors
Overall, I recommend Studiosity 100% to any student just wants another pair of eyes to look at their assessments and finding ways to improve it.
